Ben, Jos, Phil and Ed headed down to the BFI on the southbank yesterday for onedotzero’s closing night. It was a great night and really flattering to see This Is Where We Live up on the big screen with such a great collection of films. We got to meet some talented fellow film makers (Max Hattler and Chris Gavin) and Phil and Ed got to watch Ben and Jos’ first ever live interview on stage! All in all a brilliant day. Many thanks to Shane Walter, Jo Shallow and the team for looking after us and the opportunity to attend.
A quick update to say This Is Where We Live has been accepted to be shown at both onedotzero at the BFI and Rushes - Soho Shorts Festival. We’re over the moon, and remain gratefully chuffed that this film of ours has captured so many peoples imaginations.
So Harper Collins have decided to put the book animation for 25th Estate in the front window of Foyles, Charing Cross Road, for the next few weeks! Check it out if you find yourself around Soho.
So Jordan has put us all to shame; being really proactive about entering This Is Where We Live into competitions (nice one J!) One of these was the FMX and Imagine Innovation In Animation Award and… well… we won! Jordan’s heading over to FMX in Germany to see it screened and to eat a lot of Bratwurst. Needless to say, we’re all very chuffed and this is a great opportunity to say a big thanks to everyone who made it possible.

Asylum are excited and proud to announce that the 4th Estate animation will be shown at the TED conference which happens between the 3rd and 7th of Feb. TED brings together the worlds most fascinating thinkers and doers to give a series of 18 minute talks over four days. This is where we live will be shown between one of these talks. It’s as a great honor to be selected to be shown and we are well chuffed!
